I bought this hoping the lense would fit the original lamp in my late 69 Fender amp. It doesn’t fit due to a different thread size. I ended up changing the whole lamp. I bought the purple lamp kit, and to my eyes, it’s on the pinkish side of purple, but I like the way it looks.
